Costs
Casket Transportation Fee
The casket transportation fee covers the cost of transportation from the hospital or elsewhere to the designated transportation destination and the cost of the vehicle for the casket incurred when taking the deceased to the airport.
Embalming
The embalming fee varies depending on the condition of the decreased when this treatment is performed. Therefore, we will provide a rough calculation of cost at the quotation stage.
Document Preparation
The document preparation fee is to cover the cost of us preparing all the documents to repatriate the deceased to his or her home country and the certificates at the embassy or consulate.
Transportation Freight Fare
The air freight fare is the cost incurred in freight handling to send the decreased back to his or her home country by air transport. The packing method and total weight differs depending on the circumstances of the destination country.
Casket Price
In terms of the casket price, it is sometimes possible to repatriate the decreased in a casket designed to be used in Japan. However, it is not always possible to repatriate the decreased in a casket not designed for use in his or her home country depending on that country.
Packing Fee
The packing fee differs depending on the circumstances of each country. Therefore, we can calculate the cost once the destination airport has been determined.
Precautions
※ We will start work only upon receiving the full amount of the costs from the client.
※ Please reserve hotel rooms by yourself for those returning home with the deceased. We will inform you of the flight number and departure time once we learn of it.
※ Please understand that we will perform the embalming treatment at the resting site. It will not be possible to stay with the deceased during that time, so please explain that to the client.
※ It is necessary to preserve the deceased with dry ice up to the embalming treatment. Therefore, please avoid touching the deceased as far as possible. The embalming treatment may take some time depending on the dry ice treatment location.

Precautions
※ It is not possible to stay with the deceased during the opening of the casket, the transfer of the deceased to the new casket and the placement of the deceased in that casket.
※ We will use dry ice when placing the deceased in the casket.
※ We will disassemble and dispose of the transportation casket from overseas.
